Our takedown policy is available here.
When items are uploaded to Avatar Reality, they receive a time stamp and a unique registration code. When a user purchases an item, they are granted access to that item through a permission table that resides on our servers. If a developer discovers an item that they believe infringes on their copyright or trademark, they can submit an abuse claim to Avatar Reality that identifies the infringing work. We can then prevent further distribution of the infringing item by disabling new entries in the permission table with the corresponding registration code. Developers can file a counterclaim if they believe the original complaint is in error. We follow the procedures dictated by the DMCA when dealing with copyright abuse.
We are developing a form-based admission process to expedite takedown submissions. It will be online in the near future.
We take your brand, IP, and copyright very seriously. We designed the Blue Mars system to provide the best possible IP protection.
